Individual Subscriptions are limited to one authorized user per our EULA.  That user can use their Subscription ID freely on up to 2 tracked devices.  For desktop logins, Beyond Typicals tracks and logs the user’s MAC address and Windows username.  These tracked devices can be viewed in the account manager’s subscription plan details page at beyondcad.com.

For individual subscriptions using Cloud Access, Beyond Typicals attempts to track and log a unique identifier based on the user’s browser and IP address.  Over time, multiple logins from the same user and browser may register as multiple devices.  If the Cloud Access user reaches the 2 device limit, reach out to our support team for additional assistance.

Some customers use Beyond Typicals in a virtual desktop environment.  For newly generated or randomly-assigned virtual desktop pools, individual subscriptions are not a feasible option due to the tracked device limitations.  For virtual desktop environments, we recommend choosing our Enterprise Licensing which includes a floating, shareable license that is designed to be used by a team of occasional users.
