Beyond CAD’s founder, Sam Lytle, brings unparalleled expertise to the table. Before establishing Beyond CAD, Sam built and successfully sold Civil FX (2014–2020), a leading 3D visualization company specializing in transportation projects. Over six years, Civil FX worked with countless clients, delivering outstanding visualizations for a wide range of civil engineering projects. This rich history gives us unique insights into the challenges and requirements of this space, ensuring your project is in expert hands.

Our Workflow: Precision Meets Efficiency
We leverage a streamlined workflow to deliver the best results:

• Modeling in SketchUp: We create detailed, accurate 3D models that form the foundation of every project. We can also gather and model surrounding context using terrain sources and by modeling buildings and other 3D assets.
• Final Visualization in Civil Engine: When full visualization is needed, we use Civil Engine to produce polished images and animations, setting a new standard for visual communication in civil engineering.

Because Civil Engine is new, built specifically for these projects and we are the foremost experts, this workflow will provide efficiencies not possible elsewhere and anticipate the ability to offer high quality 3D visualization services at rates below industry standards while not sacrificing quality.
